研究自述

Alexandra 的研究聚焦於中國與臺灣的法律與正義議題，尤其關注刑事司法中的人權，以及跨國層次的公民與政治權利議題。她目前正在進行一項關於臺灣「防衛性民主」（militant democracy）的研究計畫。

她的研究興趣亦包括中國黨國體制下官方論述與法律改革之間的互動，以及在威權體制中，學術界如何圍繞這些官方論述展開討論。Alexandra 特別關注中國法律體系日益出現的非自由主義轉向，以及習近平時期的再意識形態化現象。
她亦關心日益加劇的壓制如何影響中國國內學術界，以及這些國內政治發展在跨國層面所產生的影響。

Alexandra’s research focuses on law and justice in China and Taiwan, with a focus on human rights in criminal justice and on transnational civil and political rights issues. She is currently working on a project about Taiwan's militant democracy. Her research interests also include the interactions between official discourses and legal reforms in the Chinese party-state, as well as the academic debate surrounding such discourses in the authoritarian system. Alexandra is concerned with the increased illiberal changes in the Chinese legal system and the re-ideologisation under Xi Jinping. She is interested in how increasing repression has affected domestic academia and what transnational implications these domestic political developments have.
