My legal research interests encompass the full spectrum of Constitutional and Administrative Law, with a particular focus on integrating specialized areas within administrative law, including environmental law, technology law, and food safety law.
My recent legal research follows two main paths: the first focuses on exploring legal issues centered on technological development and societal change, such as digital government, the legal infrastructure of artificial intelligence, climate change law and climate litigation; the second emphasizes the systematic and foundational exploration of public law methodology and comparative law. These two paths are pursued in a mutually reinforcing, cross-referential manner. I particularly emphasized the importance of the "legal problematic" in jurisprudence and, on this foundation, developed two distinct methodologies for legal thinking. The first is an interactive approach focusing on "concepts, mechanisms, and choices," while the second involves constructing a public law framework based on "legal relationships," particularly through the lens of administrative legal relationships. These methodologies aim to refine the systematic, practical, and extensible aspects of legal research.
Devoting to legal studies, I am particularly interested in jurisprudence and judicial practice of public law. In recent years, I am zealous in surveying legal methodology, indulged in exploring the fashion of legal cultures, committed to being a man of action for the ideal of the rule of law, a muser of legal thinking, a practitioner of legal norms. I write about systematic, consistent, substantive ideas of legal thoughts and legal discourses, in the past or at present.
