研究自述
中央研究院法律學研究所助研究員、美國紐約大學法學院亞美法研究所Affiliated Scholar、紐約大學法學博士。研究學科為國際人權法，聚焦於人權、國際法和國際關係之面向，研究對象為中國、台灣與兩岸關係。近年來研究朝五個主軸發展：（一）中國威權政法體制；（二）中國對國際人權體系之影響；（三）香港法治變局；（四）兩岸關係之法治人權議題；（五）台灣與國際人權規範之互動。研究成果以及時事評論刊登在美國、歐洲、澳洲、香港以及台灣的學術期刊和報章雜誌，包括最近發表於《中國季刊》（The China Quarterly）、《紐約時報》（The New York Times）、《澳大利亞外交事務》（Australia Foreign Affairs）等刊物。
2017年於中研院法律所進行博士後研究，2019年任香港大學法學院首屆Global Academic Fellow，2020年投入中研院法律所「中國大陸與港澳法律」研究群組之發展。
2019年在香港研究期間近距離觀察香港抗爭與政局變化，更深刻體會研究中國政法制度的急迫與重要性，未來將持續開展關於台灣、中國、兩岸關係、香港之人權和國際法研究，期待與台灣學界一起開拓深化相關議題的學術分析和公眾討論。
